Time
We have our Kindergarden roundup on the 21st. That is exciting! She is soo excited to go, I just hope she stays excited after realizing that it is school and not play time like she is used to. I hope that she is developmentally ready. She knows most of her letters and numbers 1-5. She is not really ready to read, but we are continually working on that.
She is soo very excited for her birthday. She has been wanting to be 5 for a long time now, although I think now she is ready to be 13! She thinks she needs a cell phone! I told her she couldn't have one till she is 13 so now that is what she is wishing for!
You has been jumping off the swing, swinging high and then jumping. She fell off backwards the other day. Stunt gone bad! She cried a little and got back up and it took alot of tears and courage for her to try again after that. She didn't want to try, but I told her she needed to so she wouldn't continue to be scared. She did it! And by now I am sure she has forgotten all about it. And did you now she is one of the Dancing with the Stars girls? And I as her partner get a very good workout! WE even go behind the wall while they call our names!
Fun times!
I am doing good, other than my mind going 100 miles per hour. I actually woke at 4A and was still awake to hear my neighbor start his truck for work at 530A, then I fell asleep and then over slept. I feel like I need to be doing more for the fundraiser, then I wonder if I am putting everything else infront of my grief. I miss Landon soo much, it is such a huge loss and it will always hurt and I will always have a wound.
I had a dream last night that I was 100% happy, I had nothing carried in my mind, no what if's, no pain just pure happiness! Sometimes I wonder what that really feels like awake? Don't get me wrong, through all I have been, I am happy, Paige, my family, my friends make me happy, just not the same old carefree happy that used to be. It really is just not the same.
If you ahve not please take time to check out the fundraiser and if you can please help us raise money to help find a treatment/cure for this disease. Even if you can only donate $1 that will help. www.umdf.org/landonshope
Thanks for keeping up with us!

Awesome Weekend!
It was way past her bedtime at the end and she was very tired, she fell asleep in the car and we got home about 10p. She actually slept in Sat morning till 730A. It was very nice!
Saturday she played with the girl down the street all day. We hit all 3 parks in town throughout the day and they had lots of fun! She stayed the night and the next morning we made yet another trip to the park and then we sent her on her way home! 2 girls age 5, that is alot of noise! It was funny, they were in there jammas with popcorn watching a movie and the 2 older boys from down the street came by to collect donations for hoops for hearts. So I donated and had them come in so I could the $$. Wow those girls were gaga over these boys. They were all gigly! It was funny.
Then Sunday we went into to the store and not only did I get a bike, but Paige got a new one too.
It was soo inexpensive and she really needs a bigger one. So we just did it! Then we went for a bike ride! It was great! Needless to say after such a busy weekend, bed time was not much fun last night! But I expected it! She is really into Extreme Home makeover, she is very interested in these people's health and seeing them being helped out in such a great way! I think she is going to be a Doctor!

Spring!
Paige is of course too. She is outside 98% of the days we are home the 2% is eating and me trying to get her to sit and take a few minutes break. She rode her bike to the park last weekend and wanted me to ride with her, well the best I can do is walk with her since I don't have a bike. Last night we went to T's house for dinner and she has a very nice bike! It is a
cruiser, paid alot of $$ for it, it was nice, like drivin a Cadi! Of coure I don't have the $$ to spend on a really nice one, but I am going to get the cheap version of her cruiser!
Pagie will love it! I am excited, will be fun and great exercise! We can go on the bke trail around the river! Will be nice!
I will have to get some sort of refrigerated pack to take with us, for snacks of course! Just in case! Sorry just thinking and writing!
Fundraiser is doing great. Have people to walk and hope to get them online to register.
We have also had some great donations from some who cannot make the walk.
It is awesome! I do have a prayer request for Landon Weber. http://www.caringbridge.org/visit/landonweber
Thanks!!!

No Pokes!
She has gianed 3 pounds in the last 8 months, she has also grown 7 inches!!
With the incident 8 months ago (after the ferris wheel) and this incident, she ended up with a nasty cold both times.
He thinks that when she gets sick, most likely with a virus her balance gets way off. He did have a term for it, but I can't remember it right now. He thinks her large intake of food is just her growing so much and the fact that she is soooooooooo active! He also thinks that her activity level while sick has some to do with the way her body reacts. We are keeping a close on her weight and height for the next few months to make sure she does not loose weight. She really has no other signs of being adiabetic. She is not loosing weight, she does not have constant thirst, she does not urinate frequently. If she has another spell, we will be going back in. But for the time being, we wil lkeep a close eye on her. I think the two are also related to the virus. Had it not been both times, I would not think so, but to get a yucky virus and have similar incidents, I just have to think they are related to the illness.
7 inches, wow, she is a growing machine!!
Thanks for the prayers!

Paige has me very worried!
She turned to walk to me and stumbled, I grabbed her hand and she fell to the ground. She was able to catch her head from hitting the ground. I sat her up on my lap and she seemed as if she might pass out, wobbly and very dizzy. I asked her if she wanted a drink and she said mommy I can't. I was able to get her over to the sitting area and she laid down over my lap.
She said she was hot. She also said Mommy I don't even know where to go. She was obviously very dizzy, She said look I can't even touch the table and tried to touch the table.
Then she started to sweat. After laying for a few minutes I got her to sit and took a drink of orange juice and then she was immediately hungry. She had a few bites of pizza. I carried her through more of the mall, she was no longer dizzy. I sat her down and then had her stand up and she was able to walk to the car. She said about 10 minutes later. Mommy I feel much better. She played like crazy the rest of the day and the rest of the weekend. She had woken that morning with a cough, and the next morning with a really yukky cough/yucky nose.
But played fine and no other incidents since.
I talked to her teacher this morning and she said she is constantly complaining she is hungry and she eats a ton. 2-3 helpings at lunch and snack. She has grown soo much in the last few months. I have noticed in the last week or so she has been eating like crazy and also complaining a few times that her knees hurt. Well I figured it was a growth spurt. But must be more than that. She has also been extremely active, and by hat I man she does not sit down. I had to make her sit and watch cartoons periodically and that was a task! I know it was not a seizure. More likely a hypoglycemic episode. But why! So we go to the doc in the morning. I am very worried, Very nervous and very sick over what this might be.
Please pray!

My "Spirited" Child
Most important of all, examine the way you describe your
toddler. The "wild child" who is "stubborn," "exhausting," and a "crybaby" is
also a spirited child who is persistent, energetic, and sensitive — all traits
that are admired in adults. Use positive labels when discussing your child with
relatives and teachers, and they'll come to see his wonderful attributes too.And
with increased self-esteem, your spirited child will want to learn to behave
well. You'll know you're on the right track when your 3-year-old announces to
Grandma, "I had lots of energy today!" instead of saying, "I was a bad boy."
When you focus on your child's positive features and strengths, it changes your
behavior, and that in turn changes your child's behavior. This list was to take
things that we often say with a negative connotation and say it as a positive
attribute.Paige IS1. Energetic2. Great Listener3. Sensitive4. Independent5. Adult like6. Go Getter7. Freindly8. Intuitive9. A Sharer10. The Best--Best Friend ever!Thanks Holly, that felt good!

Where do rocks belong????
Not the case aroud here. I got a call from preschool about 1030a. Of course alarmed I say what happened. "Well Paige put a rock in nose and it is stuck, we cannot get it out"
She did WHAT???
I had to go get her and bring her to Urgent Care in Greeley and have the nurse and assitant take the rock out of her nose. Luckily they did it in the waiting room and we did not even have to check in. Thanks to those folks over there!!!
Woo, what a day. I got a migraine this morning, and had a doc appt as well this afternoon. I have not had migraines for 2 years and now all of a sudden they are back. He thinks it may have something to do with strained muscles. Ok, So I started the Jillian workout about a month ago and may have pulled soemthing. or it could be the fact that I sit at a computer for 9 hours a day 5 days a week for 12 years. I am not sure what is going on, but migraines completely suck!

More Busy-ness
Wow, tonight is Paige's last swim lesson. We had been doing it on Saturday mornings until the gymnastics popped up and then the best time for the pool was Monday after work. Well Monday at 630pm, Paige is a bit tired and it just really is not the best time for her little body and brain to get the most out of it. Tonight is her last session and I will resign her but will wait the 3 weeks until gymnastics is over to take her again. She is loving all of it. She is such a busy bee, she cannot stand to not be doing things.
We had a great weekend. Took a trip to Estes for Abby's piano recital and then back down yesterday morning to drop Paige off with her dad and for me to get some much need, much put off yard work done. I think I was to do that last weekend. But it did get done and I will scream if I pull up to my yard covered in tumble weeds. I raked over about 6 piles to the field across the street. And bagged another 4 bags of them. I have found they are easy to pick up when wet!
So as I watered my plants (it has been so dry), I also watered my tumble weeds and they squished right up into the bag!
The fundraiser is all set up, just waiting for the most important peice, the website. I should have that address to post soon. This website was created by the UMDF and all proceeds go directly to them, great huh! I am soo excited, I can hardly stand it! Such an honor to do this for Landon and all the other mito kids!
I am off for groceries on lunch!
