It's here!

Well after 2 Christmas's of wanting, she finally got it!

And Maxie Boy is staying the weekend! This is my dad's dog, ain't he cute!!!

Paige and I were running around in the basement tonight and she said hold up! Now for some weird reason the old song came into my head and has yet to leave. "Hold up, wait a minute, ain't got nothin but a tootie frutie, get off the floor if you got that bootie" Now are those really even the words or just the words I made up to it 15 years ago? Too funny. Anyways, I cannot get the song out of my head and Paige thought it was sooo cool!
Well, I am passing on to all of you , you can sing it in your heads and take it out of mine!! Have a great weekend!

Yes, I actually thought this

My dryer which is downstairs was done with it's cycle. I reached in and felt they were still damp.
This is what I said in my head.

"Oh crap, I don't want to come all the way back down stairs when they are done in 20 minutes. Oh wait a minute, (light bulb goes off). I will just take them up, duh, they have plenty of time to dry on the couch, which is as far as I was gonna go with it tonight anyways!"
I like to wash the laundry, I hate to put the laundry away. That's bad!

Sweet Memories

This nice weather is taking me back to the days, I had more time off and could sit and hold my sweet boy. The days I could put him in his car seat or bean bag and would sit outside for hours. He immediatly would fall asleep! I miss him soo much.
I miss everything about him. His big chubby cheeks, his long beautiful black eyelashes, his smell, everything!
I miss you sweet boy!

So nice outside!

It is at least 60 degrees today, and yes it has been for a few days, unfortunatley though the last 3 days it has been 60, it has been soo windy you couldn't step out without trying not to blow away. Poor Paige was soo upset they could not go outside all day yesterday. So I am sure they are out alot today, it is beautiful out!
Paige had swim again on Saturday and she had soo much fun again. This teacher is really working her hard, which is great! I am hoping she gets more comfort in the pool!
She has also grown out of her socks! She is getting soo big! She also has a new "friend" she only calls on her "cell phone" (fake of course!". Her "friends" name is Fabulous! Yep that's right. Fabby, is Fabulous' nickname. She pretends to be chatting away.
Which she seems to be getting from our friends, who are 13 and 17 and have do have real cell phones. We went to church with them on Sunday and then went to Chuckie Cheese. There mom was Landon's Home Health care nurse. So we all went and it was nice, cause the girls hung with Paige for 4 hours, yes 4 hours in that place! Hailey and myself sat chatted, it was very nice!
Needless to say, Paige slept really good that night.
So anyone of you who actually read this and drink wine,
I am not sure if this is just me, but I have found that when I drink a lighter wine, I wake in the middle of the night and cannot go back to sleep for hours! But I drink the darker wine, even the rose wine, and I don't seem to have this problem. Just a few glasses and I have the sleeping issue with the lighter wine. Is this just me being crazy or is there a reasoning behind this?

Also, as much as I didn't really want to, I am looking at getting another dog. Not a puppy! We do not have time for a pup, but an older dog, nice, loving dog, to watch out for the house!
I used to hear these little noises in the house at night and always just assumed it was the dog, or maybe it was no big deal cause I knew if it were something or someone the dog would bark.
Well, it is a bit quiet in the house. Not in any real hurry, just want to make sure we find the right dog, must get along with cats, kids and preferably one that does not howl at trains!

it's learning how to dance in the rain"

Free moment

Seems we are really busy these days, Paige started her private swim lessons last night and loved it. I really think this is going to be soo much better for her than the group lessons. She is actually working on keeping her self afloat and not just being held up by someone walking her through the pool! She used lots of her muscles and did very well! I cannot wait to see how much progress she makes in the next months to come.
I am still doing my yoga and Gilad work out. I feel much better and I think the challenge is good for me right now. We are taking things day by day and take what comes our way.
Not much else going on at all. I am not even sure what we have been busy doing other than really spending lots of time together. Paige has grown soo much in the last few months it is amazing.
We did put Harley down this last week, another death for her to deal with. She says, first I don't have my brother and now I don't have my dog. Poor girl has gone through more in the last 4 years than some have in lifetime. She wants to get a puppy, but we don't have time for a puppy. I hope sometime (not soon) to have another dog, but we will get an older dog who needs a good home. Sugar has really softened up to Paige lately, if we are sitting together on the couch, Sugar will jump right up and let Paige pet her. So that has made her feel really good!
On my birthday I got the most amazing gift. My mom and sisters ordered a picture book from shutterfly for me. It begins with my pregnant tummy, ultasound pics and goes on to present Landon's life. Of course I sobbed a picture #1 and cried throughout. The love he gave and was given is amazing.

My Little Comedian

Paige this morning while putting on her new cow girl boots.
(Keep in mind while saying this she is wide eye'd and very excited about her idea)

"Mommy I know, we can go to a farm and I can step in poop"

Obviously she has high expectations of these boots!!

The other morning before school, she hands me the phone and says.

"Mommy call and see if the mall is open"
I said
"Sweetie, we have school and work today"
She says
"I know call and see if they are open and all the kids can go!"

She told me this morning too when she woke up and found I had already been up and showered
(YES! She slept in past 7A!!!)
She says as if she missed something important "Mommy you should have woke me up"

Happy New Year!

Wow, it is the 2nd. , I soo meant to get on here yesterday, I don't know where the day went.Hope everyone had a safe New Year's Eve/Day. I was in bed by 10P, it was nice and relaxing and even better, I woke feeling really good the next mroning :)Well tomorrow I turn the big 33 and My Friend Laurie and maybe my sister will be coming down to go play some pool and just hang out.Paige is not soo excited, that I am going to go do something without her, so I told her we would go to dinner, then she can go to her dad's. So far she is ok with that. She has been doing really well! She has soo much energy it wears my out! She has big ideas and the things she says are hilarious. At 7A she ran into my room and said "momm, I got good rest so I have lots of energy" That is how I woke up! It is great! After a few cups of coffee I feel the same :)She has been rocking out to Hannah, and I mean really rockin out. She blasts the music has this stick thing that she sings into and even does a few little head bangs here and there. It is hilarious, and I have to admit I take my turn too!In addition to my yoga, I have added Gillad (?) . He like to kick my butt, but I feel so good afterwards. It is only about 15-20 minutes long when you fastward the comercials (I have it recorded on DVR) and I do skip over some of the sit ups (OUCH!) but I do my best. I have also been keeping up with the yoga. Hopefully my body will get wipped into shape!PS---She actually wore jeans! She has refused jeans since she was 2! (they are too uncomfortable!)
